Gameplay
As you would expect in a high fantasy adventure, you will explore an interconnected land filled with monsters and dungeons while collecting resources and new items for your quest and stopping the looming threat. The plot at Mages of Mystralia is in the foreground. Written by Ed Greenwood, creator of Dungeons & Dragons' Forgotten Realms campaign, the author's pedigree is evident in the tantalizing world tradition that represents the struggle to live the life of a wizard and the persecution they face for their gifts. But while Mages of Mystralia maintains its stable world build, it is unable to keep up with it all, resulting in an ending that leaves too much on the table and with little benefit.
Recorders
The game looks especially nice and you can tell that it was made by a small studio and it moves smoothly at all times playing on a Nintendo Switch both on a laptop and on the dock.

| Points positives | Points negative |
| + The game looks amazing for not being a world renowned triple A studio. | - You have to like the genre because they have not been able to go much beyond what is the base in terms of type of game. |
| + For the price it has it would be difficult not to recommend it. |
Mages of Mystralia is an entertaining adventure
