Review: UNYKA Armor C20 chassis
We analyze the UNYKA Armor C20 chassis, a chassis designed for users with a very tight budget who are looking for an attractive chassis.
We can find all kinds of solutions on the market, from economic options to develop a system that performs well but with adjusted prices or configurations to develop compact systems. UNYKA thinking of users who want a compact and well priced system for gaming without great fanfare has developed the UNYKA MATX Armor C20 chassis, a chassis that is characterized by being compact, spacious and very economical.
UNYKA in the case of the MATX Armor C20 has opted for a chassis specially developed for micro-ATX motherboards with inexpensive materials with the intention of offering a very low cost chassis. We see this clearly in the SPCC steel, which is 0.5mm, leaving a very light material that is combined with the front and side panels of methacrylate, making this system weigh only 3.2Kg when empty.
It is not by far the best of metals, in fact, the 0.6mm SPCC already seems very fair to us, but this is still a lower point, so it is somewhat weaker. It is also striking that this chassis is 392x202x427mm, which makes it ideal for users who have little space to set up their system.
Internally, this chassis has a number of hard drive bays that is quite good, with space for two 2.5 ″ SSDs and space for two 3.5 ″ HDDs. Maybe a little just two and two, but for a chassis of these characteristics it is more than enough, also normal users rarely occupy more than two slots.
It has internally for a large amount of fan, something that seems to be a hallmark of the brand. We see how it has space for two fans on the front panel, two more fans in the upper area, another two fans internally and one more in the rear area. The funny thing is that the company has not installed the slightest fan, so we will have to buy one to move the internal air.
This chassis has an area for cable management, something that cannot be lacking in a chassis today. Also in terms of connectivity, it has a USB 2.0 port and a USB 3.0 port, something that we found excessively fair. It has a jack connector for sound output and jack for sound input, something that is within the optimal.
To conclude this review of the UNYKA Armor C20 chassis, we will say that it is a very simple chassis, which has a fair and very adjusted price, which meets the minimum requirements of a chassis with the addition of methacrylate panels, which do more attractive than other chassis on the market for the range of € 25, which is the range in which this chassis moves. The biggest criticism that can be made is that it does not incorporate any fan, something that today is almost mandatory.
