Its back part does not have anything in itself that indicates the model of laptop it is. It does include a sticker with the characteristics in the corner.
In this sticker we can see the characteristics, which among the most remarkable with a 512 GB SSD, the graphics are integrated through Intel Iris Xe and the RAM is 16 GB.

Analyzing a laptop is complicated because it is implicit that it will have certain limits in terms of performance, which are still inconvenient as it is a very closed system and gives problems when it comes to expanding. There we find that despite having a very reliable keyboard and a precise trackpad, if we want to use our own keyboard and mouse, we will immediately notice the shortage of USB ports unless we use a USB HUB for the USB-A port or USB-C Lightning. The same with peripherals such as a digitizing tablet or a controller to play games. If we think about connecting a second screen, something imperative in terminals that we are going to use for many hours, the lack of a second native video output is noticeable without going through USB-C adapters.
The MSI Prestige 14 EVO Laptop can be classified as a premium laptop for students who also want to use it for gaming. Its price seems high, but it must be remembered that it is a laptop with a fairly solvent battery and good graphics and RAM capacity. Its 512 GB SSD is generous enough to be able to store several image, sound and video editing programs along with some games, that unless we are compulsive installers of Steam and Epic Games libraries, we will not have to organize space of recurring form.
We have verified that it is also valid as a gaming laptop, but far from reaching Ultra capabilities. In several games I have noticed how in Medium it reaches 60 FPS, and in games like Fortnite it is perfectly fluid. In more demanding titles, you can see that it costs you, but it is not a problem to lower the graphic quality. In this way, we can say without fear that the MSI Prestige 14 EVO Laptop is solvent enough for the gaming needs of many students who need a laptop for classes. And it is that we have tested the laptop battery through active use with WiFi and Bluetooth connections and easily exceed a whole seven hours, with what a use without constant connections and simply with an office suite such as Office or LibreOffice easily lengthens the battery above eight and a half hours.
That, speaking of classes, the microphone and the webcam that the MSI Prestige 14 EV Laptop has integrated, are really good considering that we are talking about integrated equipment. In video calls, role-playing games, or Discord conversations, the video and sound quality is well above what is usually the case with built-in laptop cameras and microphones.
As a laptop, it has its limitations, but seeing how ultra-thin it is, the portability and the power it has, its drawbacks are only noticeable for the most demanding. Its price as a laptop for a student is somewhat high and it would have very high performance, but including its gaming capabilities, it is a good option for that student who wants a strong gaming terminal, or that gamer who needs to renew his computer and needs a laptop for classes.
