Having a good temperature dissipation system for our processor is very important. The better the cooling system and the better temperature the processor has, the more we can demand from it and the longer it will last. Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 liquid cooling is a beast capable of dissipating the heat of any processor. In addition, this RL AiO has a small fan above the processor to cool the VRM phases
Thanks to Arctic for giving us this liquid cooling

Unboxing Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360
We have received the Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 model that has a 360mm radiator. This radiator has the capacity to incorporate 3 120mm fans, as we see in the front image of the box. The kit has everything you need to be mounted on compatible chassis, everything is said.
Inside the box we find the entire cooling block already assembled. The fans are already mounted, which greatly simplifies the installation process. It is also true that mounting the fans does not have the slightest secret.
We can also see that this liquid cooling has all the necessary anchoring systems. This RL AiO is intended for Intel processors and AMD processors, hence the anchors for both processor manufacturers are integrated. It should be noted that an envelope of MX-4 heat conductive paste is added, which is the best on the market.
Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 Design
This RL is the second generation of kits that Arctic brings to the market and it does so with a more polished design. This liquid cooling stands out for offering up to 30% more dissipation surface than a similar kit from another manufacturer. Being a 360mm kit, it supports only 120mm fans.
What has changed the most with respect to the previous kits is the pump with exchanger. It has a completely redesigned pump and liquid exchange zone. It has a drive pump specifically designed by the company. As a highlight at this point we have the 40mm fan that we will talk about later.
This Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 cooling features an aluminum radiator with flat channels and a laminated structure shaped by waves to generate a large heat transfer surface. The fittings of this refrigeration have been chromed to give it a touch more sophistication. The tubes, on the other hand, have been meshed to prevent tube wear and improve design. Curiously, the fan cable goes through the mesh of the tube. Aesthetically this is fine, but cleaning the fans can be somewhat uncomfortable.
Features Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360
Arctic has implemented a fan right in the RL pump to this liquid cooling. This 40mm fan is not there by chance and it has an important function. The dissipations of the VRMs are becoming more aesthetic and unfortunately, less efficient. At Arctic they are aware of this and that is why they have developed this system that helps to cool them. Although it seems a bit absurd, it will allow the VRM phases to go more comfortable and the hardware lasts longer.
One of the strengths of the pump on this RL Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 is that it has a variable flow system. The pump adjusts the frequency using the PWM system and does so in unison with the fans. Depending on the temperature of the processor, the pump and fans are synchronized to increase or decrease their rotation speed. This allows for greater efficiency and even less wear on components.
A copper base could not be missing that efficiently transfers heat to the coolant. The heat exchange base conforms to the IHS of modern processors. It has a polishing system that helps reduce surface imperfections.

Conclusion
Highlights of this liquid refrigeration Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 its pump design. It has a 40mm fan designed to cool the VRM phases efficiently and it does. The fittings are chromed and the tubes are meshed, in this case, to protect the tube and at the same time to hide the fan cable. And it is that the fan cable goes to the pump, leaving only one cable from this set. The fans depend on the pump, adjusting the whole assembly to offer great performance.
It is compatible with Intel LGA115X and AMD AM4 processors, making it ideal for modern processors. It completely lacks unnecessary frills such as RGB lighting, focusing on what's important: heat dissipation. It should be noted that the radiator is larger than usual, which can be a problem on compact chassis. It also does not have a filling and purging outlet, which can become a problem due to the micro evaporation of the liquid.
- PWM pump and PWM fans running in sync
- Complete assembly of factory components
- RL tubes covered with a protective / aesthetic mesh
- The fan cable goes inside the mesh
- 40mm fan for VRM phase cooling
- Chrome fittings for a higher quality design
- Just one cable for the whole set
- The radiator is wider than usual, which can be a problem in compact chassis
- No outlet to fill and bleed this liquid cooling
