How to create a resume to help you find a job online

The curriculum vitae is our greatest tool in the job search. It is our business card to companies that search among hundreds of applicants to fill one of their vacant jobs.

Despite the changes that have been made due to data protection, the physical curriculum is hardly taken beyond being asked if they happen to do a job interview. But you always need to have one ready for when they ask us, and even one for depending on what type of sector we are aspiring to have a job for.

Tools and tips for making a resume

One may think that with a simple free office automation tool it may be all you need and that's it. but you will be doing the job by half because it will fail to be showy among dozens of other candidates. Using a template that highlights your qualities according to which sector helps a lot to be seen, and it is not difficult to find templates online since here for example there are examples of curriculum by sector.

The fact of putting a photo gives a vote of confidence to the employer, but you have to prepare it because any photo you have is not worth it if it has not been taken with the explicit purpose of being a formal photo. No expressions or huge smiles beyond the light, with a simple background and with the face well centered and framed. This small detail is much appreciated since it indicates that you take care of the details and depending on which sector we aspire to have a job interview, it can be a great help.

We must take into account what type of sector we are headed for, and it is something we cannot stop insisting on. For example, the Curriculum examples website has default templates for different types of applicants. In the following list we have the following examples of templates by sector:

As a last piece of advice, don't be afraid to put all the personal projects, courses or volunteer tasks that you have done throughout your life to make it clear that, despite not being in active paid work, you have not been quiet.
