Good morning everyone! I wanted to introduce myself and introduce you to the PC that I am going to set up shortly if everything goes well.
I would like you to comment and say what you think, if you have suggestions or whatever.
Processor: Ryzen 5 2600 or 2600x if I find it cheap somewhere.
Board: MSI x470 Gaming Pro, on the one hand I get a card with enough connections, for the future and I also take the odyssey that they have on sale.
Ram: G.Skill Trident Z RGB DDR4 3200 PC4-25600 16GB 2x8GB CL16 (I got them the first night of black friday for €133 in total, I hope they do well)
Graphics: Sapphire RADEON RX 580 NITRO+ 8GB (snatched last month at amazon fr gaming days for €200 + €10 taxes)
Source: Corsair TX650M (snatched during black friday for €70 minus €5 I saved by buying with BNEXT)
Box: Nox Hummer ZX. I keep the one I had of hers as I am quite happy with her.
(Hard drives plus peripherals I already have)
I only need the motherboard and the processor that I hope to order next week. The only thing apart from all this is the heatsink, I'm hesitating between putting a normal one by air like the scythe mugen 5 (which has been recommended to me) or some all-in-one liquid cooling that is not very expensive.
It is the only point that I need to polish because I have never used liquid cooling, I don't know whether to trust a cheap aio and I don't want to leave 100 or 120 either, I don't want to put a mastodon of air heatsink either.
The idea is to make it OC, not a very brutal one but for 3,8 or 3,9 or the maximum without the processor losing useful life or being too much at risk.
Any suggestion or comment will be well received.
A greeting!
My recommendation is that you opt for the air, the rl seems great for a while, until you realize the disadvantages you have in maintenance. AIOs also tend to have very little liquid in the circuit and lose effectiveness. If you don't care about aesthetics, Noctua coolers are pretty good. The plate is not bad at all, in a configuration for a friend we chose that and he has not commented on anything bad hehe.
From my point of view I recommend air cooling, that is if you buy a GOOD heatsink. I recommend you see many rewiews.

Hello Anteo,
I agree with peers who advise avoiding an AIO.
But I will go further , Precision boost 2 and XFR 2 work very well on 2600nd generation Ryzen ... Let them work and avoid the OC ... Choose the XNUMXX and use the cooler that comes from the factory , try it and if you prefer to have better temperatures invest in a new cooler.
I leave you a video with information from AMD that I think you may be interested in.

Thank you all for the answers! I am seeing a lot of reviews and trying to inform myself as much as possible, honestly for me a practical and efficient product will always be above one that has better aesthetics,
It would be cool if it looked better but I prefer better performance. I am aware that XFR2 is going great, that in fact it is better than making it oc manually, I have seen videos about it speaking positively about the subject
but...there is almost €50 difference, a decent heatsink difference, the one that the 2600X comes with from the factory is a good cooler but I think it is not the ideal one.

The cooler that the included amd have is quite good in Intel they are not at all enough, but in AMD they work like a charm. I would rather invest in the x version of the processor than in a heatsink. In addition, there are much cheaper heatsinks that without being Noctua are going to keep the heatsink at the perfect temperatures.

Hi again Anteo,
It is refreshing to see that you have done your homework and are thinking about your decisions in a rational way , looking for the information you need to make the choice that you consider most appropriate to your needs .
Therefore, I am going to propose that you tell us in more detail about things that are more complicated than simply choosing components....
I would like to know how you are going to approach the cooling of your PC...
Are you going to use RGB in the ? If so, what kind of RGB hardware do you plan to use?
Since the box you have chosen has a window, are you going to pay attention to the aesthetics of your assembly? Example Custom cables for the PSU.
I hope not to overwhelm you with so many questions... Just curious about the level of detail you expect to give your PC.

Hello good! It's cool that you ask, this is how the forum is livened up and here I like that people are giving me their opinion.
In the end I have listened to Fermell69 and Hardwarefromthegarbage (often a nick xD), I have ordered the ryzen 5 2600X that arrives this Monday so I can enjoy a better processor and if the temperatures are a problem I will get a decent heatsink.
When I assemble everything I will pass a photo here.
As for cooling, right now I have the 3 standard fans that came with my Nox Hummer ZX, two in the front putting in air and one in the back taking out. I like being able to use the control on top of the tower, it's quite handy; the problem is that i checked
that these fans are not very efficient, at least according to my very basic tests, I looked at the temperature of my RX 580 with the fans at full blast and with them off, obtaining disappointing results and the difference is very small, they barely influence despite
that the airflow goes directly from the fans to the card. They also make a noticeable noise at maximum power, for these two details I have thought of changing them for some Noctua NF-S12A PWM that I understand are silent and with good air flow, yes, if I find or
someone suggest others as good or better with rgb and for more or less that price I'll think about it. I can put two more fans on top but I would have to check that they are really worth it.
I have thought about buying an rgb strip to give it a better appearance and make the pc better inside but in principle my priority is to have a powerful, well cooled and durable system, the little lights are always welcome but I don't have too much money and I have to comply other priorities
first xD
I don't plan to get involved with modding so much as to buy custom cables and others, the same in the future but for now I want everything to be well assembled, check that I have a good air flow that the components are cooled as well as possible and then I will put
nice xD
Greetings too and thanks for asking!
PS: It may be that I don't know how to use it here, but in other forums I've seen the tool for adding direct links to words and I think it's very useful, especially when talking about specific components.
