Asus presents its GTX 1080 Ti ROG Strix and GTX 1080 Ti Turbo for gaming and overclocking enthusiasts

Introducing the ASUS GTX 1080 Ti ROG Strix and GTX 1080 Ti Turbo, which have been developed and designed expressly for gaming and overclocking fans

This very morning the highly anticipated NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti was announced, which was already promising long before its departure and that we can safely say that it has not disappointed anyone. Nothing less than 11GB of GDDR5X memory that is at the height of the Hynix, a GP102 chip (the same as that of the Titan X Pascal) and a new cooling system, not bad considering that it yields 35% more than the NVIDIA GTX 1080 and it will cost the same (the other will go down in price).

Now, however, it is time to get involved because today ASUS has positioned itself in the market and has already presented its two new models, with the GTX 1080 Ti ROG Strix and 1080 Ti Turbo, designed especially for the world of overclocking. Thanks to its improved cooling system we will be able to increase the frequencies even more than in the reference model.

The 1080 Ti Turbo will mount turbine-style cooling as the reference model and can be purchased in the black or silver variant, also with its own backplate. Like the reference model, it will be priced at $ 699.

With a triple fan, the 1080 Ti ROG Strix will offer temperatures much lower than the rest, in turn it will have RGB lighting and a custom Asus backplate. The price of this model will exceed $ 699 but not by much, this makes it a very interesting model.
