AORUS GTX 1080 Xtreme Edition with two special HDMI for VR

Gigabyte has offered the AORUS GTX 1080 Xtreme Edition graphics card with two HDMI ports in the internal part designed for frontals intended for virtual reality.

During CES 2017, we discovered that Gigabyte had introduced the AORUS GTX 1080 graphics card, specially designed for virtual reality. This graphics card has several interesting features, the first is that it has an XTREME GAMING heatsink with RGB LED lighting and also has internal HDMI connectors, designed for front panels developed to connect our VR glasses, although the confirmation is official, there is still some time to go. that it officially reaches the market.

Gigabyte's GTX 1080 graphics card mounts a special version of the XTREME GAMING heatsink, which, as we have highlighted, has RGB LED lighting designed to act in sync with the motherboard thanks to RGB Fusion technology. This graphics card is similar to the other versions that Gigabyte has on the market, but with modifications. It has a heatsink formed by aluminum fins crossed by copper heatpipes that pass through the GPU and VRMA, in addition to three 100mm fans to cool efficiently.

This AORUS Xtreme Edition has the same working frequencies as the Xtreme Gaming Waterforce, having a base frequency of 1784MHz and a Boost frequency of 1936MHz. This graphics card has a memory speed of 1300MHz, being a total of 10400MHz effective. Logically this graphics card has 8GB of GDDR5X VRAM memory.

Gigabyte has launched this graphics card designed for VR, having two internal HDMI connectors, in addition to those provided by the external GTX 1080. Gigabyte has integrated them so that we can install them on the front with HDMI ports to connect our virtual reality glasses and enjoy the full potential of this graphic. This graphics card has two 8-pin power connectors.

We do not have information on when this graphics card will hit the market, but what we have for sure is that it will not be far from cheap, since it is a special edition.
