Windows 10 will incorporate a mode for video games
Windows 10 will incorporate a new mode called Game Mode, which will prioritize resources for conventional video games in Win32 and also in UWP utilities.
A few days ago we knew that a Windows 10 update caused serious problems in multi-screen configurations and Microsoft's great solution was to advise playing in windowed mode or on a single screen. Well, in a show of irony Microsoft has developed a new mode for Windows 10 that it has dubbed Game Mode, which allows us to improve performance when we run a game on our computer.
Game Mode or Game Mode, is a simple system that we can enable if we consider it interesting that will make the operating system make the distribution of resources to games a priority, over other applications, but for now the details about this new e interesting? mode is still a mystery, since at the moment the information transferred has been minimal.
This game mode will be useful for the operation of titles under the conventional Win32 system, in addition to being also useful for universal UWP utilities, the latter being the applications that can be installed through the Windows application store itself. Currently it is only available within the Insider program, Windows 10 beta system and once the utility is polished and functional, it will go to the final version of Windows 10.
Logically, it is a very interesting utility that would prioritize gaming, although of course, we do not know to what extent the redirection of resources will be effective or which applications that run in the background will cut the use of resources. We will have to wait until it is implemented to know how it really works since Microsoft gives the appropriate explanations.
