The assemblers who work with NVIDIA are beginning to be upset that NVIDIA is marketing graphics cards, taking away market share and profits.

It is difficult for all companies to be all lights and NVIDIA is showing its shadows with respect to its graphics cards. We are not talking about performance, something that is beyond doubt, we are talking about its graphics card division under Founder Edition, which is getting the company into trouble. Some of the companies that use their graphics chips in Taiwan and China have started to criticize this restrictive NVIDIA policy and are starting to criticize it because it directly affects the profits of these companies.

According to some sources within the industry, sales of graphics cards are on the rise, which would be taking advantage of NVIDIA to launch its own graphics cards, selling them under the Founder Edition brand, which would be hurting the business of its partners. The company's double game, which is based on selling its own graphics cards while selling GPUs to manufacturers such as ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI, Palit, Zotac or EVGA, among others, is leading to a somewhat strange and problematic situation.

The benefits of the six main brands that sell NVIDIA graphics cards, taking the latter out of the equation, obviously, gives us that about 150 million dollars of profit were generated thanks to the graphics cards. This would have encouraged NVIDIA to continue with this strategy and generate some extra income, which would reduce the market share of the company's partners, creating a clear conflict of interest.

During CES 2017 we learned of the rumor that EVGA could leave NVIDIA and go on to manufacture AMD graphics, which was quickly denied by EVGA, but in that information they talked about the low profit margins and the difficulties sometimes to get GPUs for its graphics and some limitations on the part of the company to customize and enhance certain graphics cards.
