The AMD Ryzen PRO are confirmed thanks to the certification for USB 3.1 Gen1 ports

The AMD Ryzen PRO processors are confirmed, thanks to the fact that they have received official certification for USB 3.1 Gen1, although there is no further data regarding these processors.

So far we knew that AMD Ryzen processors would have a series of processors called PRO, of which we did not yet have any data. These processors have appeared completely by surprise on the Universal Serial Bus (USB) website, where certifications are given to products that support the different USB standards. On the page are the AMD Summit Ridge AM4 SOCs and among them you can see the Ryzen 7 PRO 1200, the Ryzen 5 PRO 1600, the Ryzen 5 PRO 1400 and the Ryzen 3 PRO 1200.

These new processors from AMD, as we can see, have been certified with the USB 3.1 Gen1 standards. Thanks to this, these processors are confirmed, since we did know that AMD had planned them in its Roadmap of processors under Zen architecture, but there was no data on them. We don't know much more about these mysterious processors, which are intended for the business and professional sector.

The Ryzen PRO allow a lot of speculation, about how they differ with respect to the processors that we have already seen and those that are yet to come. They could be processors that do not support overclocking, although it seems unlikely, because AMD announced that all Ryzen would have it and that it could be done or not depended on the motherboard. Perhaps they are cheaper solutions or it is possible that they have more discreet working frequencies, although it is also possible that these have some type of graphics card integrated into the package itself, as a powerful and economical solution for the industrial sector.

There is no further data on this at this time and the frequencies have not been disclosed either, now or at the time they were announced. The TDP of these processors is also unknown, we only know that in terms of cores and threads, it will correspond in quantity to the family it belongs to.
