It will be on July 27 of this year when the Ryzen Threadripper processors hit the market, although it has not been officially said which processors will arrive on that date and it is to be expected that as has happened with the 'normal' Ryzen, arrive in at least two batches. These AMD processors will arrive about a month after the arrival of the Intel solutions, therefore we will already have a lot of data to be able to make a comparison between processors from both manufacturers.
The data that has been leaked suggests that in the first instance we will see only four of the nine Ryzen Threadripper processors, first seeing two twelve-core models and another two sixteen-core models. It could be that in the first instance the Ryzen Threadripper 1956 and Ryzen Threadripper 1956X with twelve cores and the Ryzen Threadripper 1998 and Ryzen Threadripper 1998X with sixteen cores arrive. Along with these processors will come new motherboards to support these great processors, which make use of the SP3r2 socket and the AMD X399 chipset.
