Overclocker UK has configured two computers in the same chassis, which it has called 8Pack OrionX, two extreme computers with liquid cooling and overclocking.
There are computers and computers. When we configure a team, we establish a price and specific needs and based on these parameters, we search the market for the best possible configuration. There are many companies that assemble teams, but today we will not talk about them, today we will talk about the specialized website Overclockers UK, which has developed a team, well, two teams in one. This team houses two computers in the same tower, each more brutal. The device is called 8Pack OrionX.
The two teams are assembled in a Phanteks Enthoo Elite tower, which alone costs $ 700, so you can start to get the idea that this team will not be much less economical. The motherboard chosen to mount all the components is the ASUS Rampage V Edition 10 X99, designed for Broadwell-E processors. The most beastly Intel processor has been used for this equipment, the ten-core Intel i7 6950X with HyperThreading that we can choose with the base frequency or with overclocking to a frequency of at least 4.4GHz cooled by liquid cooling EK Supremacy EVO CPU Waterblock.
Such a beastly processor must have an amount of RAM to match and for this team the 64GB Corsair Dominator Platinum has been installed in eight 8GB modules at a frequency of 2666MHz of DDR4 memory. Storage first is a 750TB PCIe NVMe Intel 1.2, a high-performance PCIe 3.0 x1 port hard drive. There is more storage capacity, since two Samsung 850 Pro SSDs of 1TB each have been arranged in RAID 0 and also a 10TB Seagate Barracuda hard drive has been integrated. We will do well capacity servers.
Now comes the most beast. This team does not have a graphics card, not even two, it has three graphics cards and not just any graphics card, it has three brutal 12GB NVIDIA Titan X Pascals, which are mounted with liquid cooling and with extra overclocking in addition to the standard one. We are not sure if he will be able to move the Minecraft.
This is all very well, but this computer has a second computer built into it. This second team has an ASUS RoG Strix Z270I miniITX motherboard with an Intel i7 7700K processor from the Kaby Lake family with a four cores and six processing threads with a stable overclocking frequency of 5.1GHz cooled by the EK Supremacy EVO CPU Waterblock.
Two 8GB Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR RAM modules have been installed, with a total of 16GB running at 3200MHz. For storage, two Samsung 960 Pro Series Polaris 512GB NVMe drives have been installed in RAID 0 configuration and for secondary storage a 10TB Seagate Barracuda has been installed. The graphic aspect is somewhat more discreet, installing a single NVIDIA Titan X Pascal 12GB with overclocking and liquid cooling. It is not a 3-Way SLI, but it is enough power for what we ask of it.
Well, all this is very good, since they are two brutal teams in the same tower and without a doubt it will move anything we throw at it, either team, of course. Now this 8Pack OrionX is not cheap at all, as it costs a whopping £ 24.000, which is about € 28000 in exchange. Possibly the most expensive computer we can buy.
