Acer Swift 3 could be the first laptop on the market to have the AMD Ryzen 7 2700U APU, although Acer does not confirm it and AMD has not officially presented Raven Ridge.
We have been waiting for a long time for AMD Ryzen processors to have their version for laptops and the Raven Ridge APUs, which do not finish arriving, although much has been said on this subject. Apparently the time for these to reach the market is very close and the first laptop to have a Ryzen Mobile processor could be the Acer Swift 3. It is possible that the manufacturers are expected to launch the products, shortly before the Christmas season and take advantage of this period where more and more technology is given away.
It was in October when Acer launched the Swift 3 laptops, which has an Intel Kaby Lake-R processor, which has four cores and also integrates NVIDIA GeForce MGX150 graphics, but apparently they would be preparing a laptop with a somewhat better processor, in this case I would be finishing laptops with the AMD Ryzen 7 2700U. This information is interesting, since at the moment Acer has not announced the update of these equipment and AMD has not made these processors official for the laptop segment.
Initially, this Ryzen 7 2700U is expected to have four cores and be accompanied by Vega graphics, although this information is not official. This processor is included in the Mobile version of the Raven Ridge processors. It should be noted that the Ryzen do not have integrated graphics and the Raven Ridge, are expected by entry gamers, who want a solution to play at most 1080p, allowing to save money, by not having to invest in a dedicated graphics card, such as currently happens. We will see if the existence of this laptop is confirmed in the coming days.

I understand that the CPU used by the Acer swift 3 ... will be the Ryzen 5 + Vega8 (2500u) which, theoretically, would give graphics performance similar to that of the nVidia MGX150
