Step Into the Forbidden Light in May with the Latest Expansion for the Pokémon Trading Card Game

The Pokémon Company International today announced Sun and Moon-Forbidden Light, a new expansion of the Pokémon Trading Card Game that will be released in Spain on May 4, 2018.

Expanding the history of Sun and Moon-Ultraprism, this new expansion shows the mysterious power of Necrozma, which has absorbed a legendary Pokémon and has adopted a new luminous form as Ultra-Necrozma-GX. Attracted by this new light, other Pokémon, including Lucario-GX, Greninja-GX, Zygarde-GX, Yveltal-GXPrism Star Volcanion and Prism Star Arceus, must decide whether to welcome this new light or resist it.

The expansion Sun and Moon-Forbidden Light contains:

  • More than 130 cards, including:
    • 5 new Prism Star cards
    • 8 PokémonGX
    • 6 Ultra Beasts
    • 15 Trainer Cards
    • 2 Special Energy cards
  • Each upgrade package includes:
    • 10 cards from the expansion, including at least 1 rare card, plus 1 Basic Energy card
