The Age of Empires: Definitive Edition, will hit the market on February 20, although on January 29, the Beta will be launched, so that we can enjoy the news of the game before it comes out.

The release date for the highly anticipated remaster of the strategy game Age of Empires: Definitive Edition has finally been revealed. The game was delayed to better meet user expectations. It will now be officially released on February 20th and will be priced at €19.99. Those who wish to try the game before purchasing it, to see what it looks like and what has been improved, can do so in Beta starting January 29th. If you'd like to register, here's the link.

One of the characteristics of this new installment will be the Ultra HD 4K resolution of the game, several zoom levels will be incorporated, better playability, the soundtrack of it has been remastered and a multiplayer mode has been implemented through the Xbox Live system. The renewed gameplay is something that remains a bit in the air, but the fact of improving the graphics, notably and being able to zoom, something impossible in the classic version, are very interesting values, for a game, which despite the passage of time , still has a legion of fans.

On October 20, the game turned a whopping 20 years, so it is already a veteran in the world of video games. Microsoft had planned to launch the new installment in October, but announced the delay to finish implementing the improvements and that everything works as it should. The studio that has worked on renovating the game is Forgotten Empires, who has already handled the graphic update for Age of Mitolohy, and also handled the remastering of Age of Empires II and the latest expansion, Age of Empires II HD.
