Alibaba bans the sale of cryptocurrency mining rigs

Chinese tech giant Alibaba announced today that it has banned the sale of all goods and services related to cryptocurrency mining, including mining rigs for domestic miners. This decision comes days after the People's Bank of China announced that all cryptocurrency-related transactions are illegal in the country.
As Alibaba is a platform located in China, the laws also apply to it. That means that in all its shops and portals, among which is AliExpress, you will not be able to get items dedicated to crypto mining such as rigs or even CMPs.
Alibaba follows laws against cryptocurrencies
Alibaba announced that all cryptocurrency-related sales would be treated as illegal item sales as of October 8, 2021. The mandate covers all virtual currency miners and services related to virtual currencies such as Bitcoin, Litecoin, BeaoCoin, QuarkCoin, Ethereum and others.
The ban also covers any hardware or software used to obtain these virtual currencies. Cryptocurrency course services are also included. Alibaba has also closed the 'Blockchain Miner Accessories' and 'Blockchain Miners' categories.
The ban on any cryptocurrency item or service on Alibaba will go into effect on October 8. All of this follows the instructions of the Chinese government, which wants to remove any trace of cryptocurrency from the country, even blocking tutorials and other written instructions on how to mine the currency. China has waged war against cryptocurrencies due to its high electricity consumption and because the bulk of transactions and the format of the blockchain make it possible to launder money and defraud money by making it public. Their pursuit is causing the value of all cryptocurrencies to decline and preventing these coins from continuing to exceed their all-time highs.
