Amazon launches a button to buy products in a simple way called Dash Button

El IoT o 'internet of things' It is being implemented in all kinds of services or utilities to make life easier for users. Connectivity is an important element for large companies, including Amazon, which has surprised with the announcement of Dash Button. This physical Amazon button has the characteristic of connecting through the network WiFi from our house to the internet and order the product that we have configured for it. This solution responds to a need to replace the product that we have forgotten to buy or that we have finished, such as capsules for the dishwasher, toothpaste or razor blades.

Through the application of Amazon We can configure it in a simple way for the product we want. Telepizza has had a similar button system for some years now to order pizza easily, so it is relatively new. Amazon buttons also have a system that we could call 'anti-multi-purchase' or what is the same, it prevents a product from being bought more than once before the order reaches our house, thus avoiding two people order the same product in two different time frames. When we place the order, a notification will be sent to our smartphone, to verify the order or cancel it as we wish.

Regarding the design, Dash Button has a LED indicator integrated into its body that will tell us how the order is, being green for when the order has left correctly and red for when there has been any type of failure, in addition to having a removable hook . These buttons can be customized to taste and there are also according to some brands or products. Dash Button is for members of Amazon Premium and it will cost € 4.99, each button we buy, a price that will be returned the first time you use it with a voucher of € 4.99. It will arrive in Spain on November 15.
