AMD now tells you to mine cryptocurrencies to recover part of what you paid for the hardware

Everyone crazy. Now AMD comes out saying that users who buy graphics cards at high prices, who mine cryptocurrencies, to recover part of what they paid for the graphics card and the equipment, in general.

This is already a joke. A few weeks ago, NVIDIA asked retailers not to sell more than two graphics cards per customer, to avoid cryptocurrency mining, something absurd, because no one is going to order ten thousand graphics from the corner store. The latest and craziest is the one that comes from AMD, who is aware that their excellent accounts are largely due to the mining of cryptocurrencies. Because of this, the company has told users to mine cryptocurrencies, to defray part of the costs of the new equipment.

Damien Triolet, who is AMD's Chief Marketing Officer, has spoken in an interview about mining. Troilet has commented that mining is a complex issue for the company. They are aware that they sell very good products for cryptocurrency mining, but they say they know that cryptocurrency mining is to blame for the increase in GPU prices and lack of stock. Make it clear that they can not do anything about it or explained in another way, as long as we earn money, we do not care to use our products.

In return, Damien says that those who have to pay more for their graphics, that they mine and that he wants to teach them how. 'If you want to have a high-performance PC today with a great GPU and not mine, you are losing money. If you have your PC stopped doing nothing, why not make a profit? ' Troilet is to some extent right, but this is not a suitable practice for everyone, since you have to know the market, know what to mine, know how to configure the software and other aspects, in addition, that this way the silicon of the GPU is degraded, although as there is a two-year warranty ...

The truth is that this is already a joke on the part of AMD and NVIDIA. The one that mines and the other that no more than two GPUs are sold per customer, but yes, the prices go through the roof, because they prefer to sell 1000 GPUs in an hour than 1000 GPUs in a week. The reality is that this seems more like a strategy to confront the gamer clients who are dedicated to mining and the fans of both brands, while they are filled, of course.
