Special AMD event at GDC 2017, called Capsaicin, aimed at the general public with possible presentation of AMD VEGA and the one called Cream, aimed at developers and specialized public.
It seems that AMD is going to roll it in a big way during the GDC 2017, since according to the latest information, the company has created the Capsaicin event, where AMD could present the latest in graphics processor for hardware. The event, which is up to par with the AMD VEGA of CES 2017, which was left on a seedy website and four meaningless videos or New Horizon, where neither products nor data were shown, will be a waste of time, but it still surprises us and they present something really interesting.
This event is based on two different elements, on the one hand, a streaming that will begin at 10:30 and will last until 23:30 p.m. PST and a private event that will take place between 14:30 p.m. and 17:00 p.m. PST. Following this online event, AMD will host an exclusive private party, which only those who are actually GDC attendees can attend. The description of the event makes a clear mention of the graphics hardware and the technologies developed by AMD for virtual reality:
GDC is where developers don't just shine, they compare themselves to creating the magic of the game every day from raw code, technology and imagination. On February 28, we'll kick off the day with our spicy streaming Capsaicin, but the feast of fire is best experienced when paired with something fresh and creamy to satisfy the palate.
This year at GEC, you can join our Capsaicin livestream and our Cream developer sessions on the 28th. The engaging and thought-provoking conversations centered on presenting ideas and new ways forward, fueled by gurus from the video game industries from various companies, including Epic and Unity.
Capsaicin's live broadcast begins at 20:30 PM from Ruby Skye, a feature-packed show that highlights the best in new graphics and virtual reality technologies that propel the gaming industry forward. The Cream Developer sessions will begin shortly after 14:30 PM, with a special talk about Epic and Unity.
It would be expected that the event will be based on AMD VEGA, according to what has been said and news about technologies such as virtual reality and we will see little or nothing AMD Ryzen processors. What we cannot miss is the similarity of the image of the AMD event and the republished flag of Spain. The less, curious and funny.
