New AMD RDNA3 graphics for enthusiasts will arrive in August or September

During AMD's quarterly results presentation, according to Tom's Hardware, they hinted at the upcoming release of RX 7800 and 7700 graphics cards. Lisa Su stated that in gaming graphics, they expanded their Radeon 7000 series GPUs in the second quarter with the launch of general-purpose, gaming-related RX 7600 cards, and that they are on track to further expand their RDNA 3 GPU offerings with the launch of new enthusiast Radeon 7000 series cards in the third quarter.

Speculation suggests it could also be the RX 7900 GRE, based on Navi 31 with only four MCDs instead of the usual six and a smaller package. It would be compatible with Navi 32, filling the gap between the RX 7600 and RX 7900 XT and XTX GPUs.

AMD will be releasing more RDNA3 graphics cards for enthusiasts almost imminently

The arrival of these new graphics cards could be due to a drop in AMD's revenue compared to previous years. AMD attributed the decline to lower sales of its gaming GPUs . Since last year, AMD has continued to serve the high-end market with its previous-generation RDNA 2 architecture and RX 6000 series GPUs.

The top-end RX 7900 XTX and XT arrived last December, and it later introduced a budget mid-range RX 7600 in May. But the RX 7800 and 7700 cards have yet to appear, possibly due to the existing inventory of RX 6800 and RX 6900 class GPUs, which would overlap in the performance segment.

Although it is not certain that they are precisely those models. They could be slightly scaled-down and better-priced enthusiast-end models, like an RX 7900 without or the RX 7800, both without XT. Be that as it may, if they are announced in the next two months, their launch is practically imminent.
