The changes in AMD continue, leaving the company Roy Taylor, who was the head of AMD Studios and who had direct contact with the Hollywood industry.

The departure of Raja Koduri from AMD, to land at Intel, was a relative surprise, since it was known that the failure of the RX Vega would end up taking its toll and more after he announced a few months of reflection in August, which made it clear that he was going to leave the company. It is not the only profound change for the company internally, since a new change has just been announced, in this case with AMD Studios, who works directly with Hollywood. It seems that the company unified the graphic business and the Workstation and the first sacrificed was Roy Taylor.

Roy Taylor came to AMD in 2013 and since then, he has been climbing positions within the company, passing through much of the positions of the company. The last one he has held is Corporate Vice President of Media and Entertainment at AMD Studios. Regarding the dismissal, the company has written a statement in which "we thank Roy for all his contributions to AMD, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors." It is not known why AMD has decided to dispose of a member with good seniority or what the future plans are with respect to the division to which Roy belonged.

 As for AMD Studios, the company seems to want to focus its work on the graphics and workstation business, trying to develop a stronger working system in terms of products, engineering and development, within the products of the company, such as Ryzen, Threadripper and EPYC processors and of course the graphics hardware of the Radeon family, for entertainment as well as for gaming.
