Controversy in the @AMDRadeon account on Twitter, after promoting the XFX RX 570 4GB RS, for $ 100 more than the price it had when it hit the market.
The prices of AMD graphics cards have been increasing in recent months. We have seen the price of the AMD RX 500 Series grow, specifically the RX 570 and RX 580, due to the mining of cryptocurrencies and the total lack of stock and that of the AMD RX Vega, due to lack of stock, because AMD has not been able of supplying sufficient graphics in many countries. The price increases because AMD is having a lot of trouble offering sufficient stock due to high demand and having to supply two different markets.
TechPowerUp is reporting on the price increases for graphics cards at retail stores, noting that prices are rising this September. Specifically, they highlight a tweet from one of AMD's official accounts, where a graphics card appears to be offered at an inflated price. The account in question is @AMDGaming, which promotes components for the gaming market, such as Radeon graphics cards and Ryzen processors.
This controversy arises from a tweet where the XFX RX 570 is offered for a price of $ 279, which offers a discount code for the [amazon_textlink asin = 'B072MS4G9D' text = 'Quake Champions' template =' ProductLink 'store =' hardwa028 -21 ′ marketplace = 'ES' link_id = 'd6a59d0a-93b9-11e7-8d5a-a7c34748cfa9 ′] (game value: $ 30). We must emphasize that the original price of the RX 570 was $ 169 in its 4GB model and for $ 199 you could buy the 8GB version; and specifically the XFX RX 570 4GB RS model when it was launched on the market, had a price of $ 179. This tweet also did not sit well with many of the followers of this account, due to the price inflated by $ 100. We must bear in mind that this could occur due to the strong demand, especially for mining.

If they have spent a bit, for that price I get the 1060 of 6gb.
AMD does not stop shitting it… These last two months are throwing away everything done with ryzen, and discrediting the company even more.
It is not the best of strategies. It is true that Ryzen has turned out great, but the strategy in the graphics segment is not by far the best possible.
