AMD publishes that the Custom models of the RX 5700 XT and RX 5700 will start at $399
AMD's Twitter account posts an image indicating that the price of Navi-based Custom graphics will start at $ 399.
The release date of the custom models of the AMD RX 5700 XT and RX 5700 is unknown. Theoretically they would have to go out in late August, but there is also talk of early September. The official Radeon RX account has posted a rather interesting image on Twitter. Announce the upcoming arrival of the custom PowerColor model and the starting price would be $ 399.
We must bear in mind that this price will be the starting price of the simplest models. As the cooling system improves, the PCB improves in quality, or there is overclocking, the price will go up. They should be models with a fairly simple heatsink and two fans, at best. It does not seem logical that they launch solutions with the blower heatsink, as AMD has done.
AMD reveals the starting price of the custom models of the Navi on Twitter
The cheapest assemblers will be Sapphire and XFX, as is often the custom. PowerColor is not usually one of the cheapest, just as they surprise us this time. We must bear in mind that the assembler models of the AMD RX 5700 XT are priced at 399 euros. This means that Custom models could be around 449 euros and the best models would be around 500 euros.
These AMD Radeon Navi are characterized by being graphics that have a good quality / price ratio. The main problem is that the assembler models, at the temperature level, are horrible. Something that should improve with the Custom models, since they should have two or more fans.
We have custom models of the RTX 2070 Super for about 535 euros starting. This should force a price adjustment for NVIDIA graphics. It is true that NVIDIA graphics offer RayTracing, something that AMD does not yet offer in its graphics. A technology, which, as we know, is still very green and which at the moment is not very attractive.
