AMD has announced the latest version of its AMD Radeon Adrenalin graphics suite, now at version 22.3.1. This update brings updated support for Radeon Super Resolution, AMD Link Play, Radeon Image Sharpening, and faster download speeds. The new driver also supports notifications of changes made before launching games via improved Toast notifications.
Issues present in AMD Radeon Adrenalin 22.3.1
Via the official patch notes, AMD has confirmed the following bugs with the new AMD Adrenalin update. First of all, some users of the Windows 10 operating system may notice the absence of the aero effect of transparency of windows. On some AMD graphics products, the setup page within AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition may display incorrect preset selections after installing the latest version of AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition.
In Forza Horizon 5, it is possible to experience longer than expected load times when enabling the Ray Tracing and set the ray tracing quality setting to medium or high.
When playing It Takes Two on some AMD graphics products, such as Radeon RX 6900 XT Graphics, visual artifacts may be observed. Enabling Radeon Chill for SteamVR may result in inconsistent performance. After disabling the Hotkeys feature in AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition, some hotkeys still work for some users when they reboot their system.
Using Radeon Super Resolution on 2560x1600 displays may cause a system crash. A temporary workaround is to set the display's scaling mode to full panel. When playing Cyberpunk 2077 on AMD graphics cards, some users may experience an issue where interior areas appear darker than expected. Enhanced Sync may cause a black screen when enabled in some games and system configurations. Users experiencing issues with Enhanced Sync enabled should disable it as a temporary workaround. Radeon performance metrics and logging features may intermittently indicate extremely high and incorrect memory clock values.
