The AMD Ryzen 3 2200G, with OC to the RX Vega 8 GPU, increases its performance up to 30% more

They overclock the AMD Ryzen 3 2200G processor, specifically its RX Vega 8 GPU, which shoots up in performance, offering up to 30% more performance.

AMD's Raven Ridge APUs, which are based on Zen cores, like AMD Ryzen and with AMD RX Vega graphics, were highly anticipated. These new processors are designed, above all, for entry-level gaming, for users who do not have a large budget and are going to play casually and can save money by not installing a dedicated GPU. The AMD Ryzen 3 2200G, is the simplest in the APU catalog, at least, for now and it seems that with a little overclocking, it gives an outstanding performance.

These APUs can move the simplest eSports games in FullHD, without major problems, thanks to the Vega graphics they implement. As well, the guys from WCCFTech, have wanted to see how this processor with Vega 8 graphics behaves, with overclocking. They have raised the frequency of the iGPU to 1.600MHz, from 1.100MHz of the base model and in addition, 2GB of memory has been allocated and the performance of this has skyrocketed under the Cinebench R15 and the 3DMark Fire Strike.

Thanks to the overclocking of the graphics card, the performance of the Ryzen 3 2200G shoots up in a beastly way, getting games that did not reach 30FPS, manage to reach this frame rate or more, without problems. Logically, if we are going to move PUBG, no matter how much overclocking it is done, there is no way for it to work, as with many other titles, but the LoL, Dota 2 or Counter Strike: Global Offensive, do not present major problems.

It seems to us a great solution and with a heatsink, a little better than the stock one, we can have a good stable overclocking, without the processor getting too hot. In spite of everything, the Ryzen 3 2200G processor is priced at € 99 and is posited as the king of the entry range.
