The 3 new GPUs, 1700, 1700X and 1800X priced below $ 600 are the direct rivals of processors like the i7-6800K or i7-6900K. Leaving behind this busy topic we have some statements made by the CEO of AMD, Lisa Su, who commented on the Reddit forum some interesting information about the rest of the projects that the company was going to launch throughout this 2017, such as Summit Ridge (Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 3 and Raven Ridge, which is going to be the 4th generation APUs with the AM2 socket. Other aspects that appeared were the popularity of Zen + to Zen 3 and from Zen ++ to Zen XNUMX.
Parallel to this on Raven Ridge it was detailed that it will combine 4 Zen cores accompanied by integrated graphics from AMD (the architecture was not mentioned but it is expected to be Polaris or Vega). This senior management of the company also explained that its new CPUs will support ECC memory and on the other hand made a mention of the new Infinity Fabric technology, the successor to Hyper Transport that will handle the communication between two Ryzen processors and that will also manage the parts of the Vega GPUs.
While these days we can already start enjoying the new Ryzen 7 processors, it will not be until the second quarter of this year when we can get a Ryzen 5 or a Ryzen 3.

However, it seems a bit ridiculous to say that pccomponentes has the prices of the ryzen 7 much more expensive… ..if we wno € 1 in the 1700 and 1700x, and in the 1800x it is the spectacular price increase of € 0.05…. that for my taste is not the way…. continue with your work, which is very good, but do not make comments of this type that can go very wrong… coolmod is a very good page with good prices and good articles and little by little it will improve if things are done well ... but don't compare that way please ... I found it ridiculous.

We do not talk about the prices of the stores, because each one reaches its agreements and sells the hardware according to the profit margin it can achieve and other parameters, although I also tell you that that point is not our concern, we talk about hardware.

In any case, I (and the entire hardwaresfera team) collaborate with coolmod, but we buy on the pages that offer the best prices and service, in many cases pccomponentes, Amazon and on the coolmod itself. At the time I wrote the article all the ryzen that were available (the 7 range) cost 30 euros more in each model on the pccomponents page than in coolmod. It is true that today the prices are practically the same on both pages, but the reality of the time of departure does not change. Luckily or unfortunately, no page pays me to do good publicity.

We are not promoting or anything, simply on the day of going to market we have observed how the prices were in the two most important stores in Spain and we have made a brief comparison.
