AMD will update AGESA, an update that will reach everyone in the form of BIOS update, improving communication between processor and RAM.
We have discussed AMD Ryzen's problems with RAM, a problem that is mostly due to a BIOS to finish, due to the premature release of AMD Ryzen processors. The latest news is that AMD has announced the arrival of an AGESA micro-code, intended for AMD Ryzen processors, whose mission is to improve the compatibility of the processors with the RAM memories on motherboards with socket AM4.
This new micro-code has not yet been published, which will reach users very soon, through a simple BIOS update on all Ryzen compatible motherboards. Updating these BIOSes will naturally depend on how fast the motherboard manufacturers are to implement this code within the BIOS, but it shouldn't be too long.
BIOS nowadays are quite easy to update and manufacturers provide simple update guides for it safely. It is very necessary to be attentive and have the BIOS updated to the maximum, since these updates should improve the performance of AMD Ryzen processors and solve the various problems of these processors. The Zen architecture, developed from scratch, must be polished and as the different problems appear, these will be solved with BIOS updates.
The protocol of the encapsulated software architecture of AMD or AGESA in its English acronyms, is a protocol which is found in all AM6D4 motherboards at the time the system is initialized. Basically this utility is in charge of starting and testing the cores, memory and HyperTransport drivers, being very important when starting the computer.
