AMD, the component manufacturer, and Bethesda Softworks, the game developer, recently announced an exclusive agreement. This agreement between the two companies will bring a number of powerful optimizations and graphical features to Starfield.
Starfield is the first new universe in twenty-five years from legendary developers Bethesda Game Studios. It promises to be a grand space travel experience, more ambitious and on a larger scale than No Man's Sky and Star Citizen.
AMD technology will power and improve Starfield performance
Ahead of the launch of the highly anticipated space adventure title on September 6th, AMD and Bethesda are collaborating closely to deliver enhanced performance and stunning visual effects across the vast Starfield universe on Xbox consoles and PC. For PC, Ryzen 7000 Series processors and Radeon 7000 Series graphics cards are recommended.
Through this union, gamers will be able to benefit from AMD's advanced features and technologies. This delivers a more immersive gaming experience, including advanced cross-platform upscaling technology AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 2, which improves game frame rates by upscaling lower-resolution images.
