After Computex 2017, the AMD Vega for gaming have disappeared again and of course, we wonder what is the reason for the disappearance and what is the reason for the constant delay of these graphics.
We are practically in the middle of June, near the end of the second quarter of 2017 and we are still waiting. Surely you wonder what we are waiting for, because what is it going to be, the AMD RX Vega. On the Sunday before starting Computex 2017 we already informed you about the non-presentation and sample of a gaming version of the AMD Vega graphics cards and two weeks later, as someone who does not want it, it has disappeared, no one talks about it anymore. The reason is simple, there is nothing to say about these graphics cards.
Of course, at this point one has doubts about the situation and two possibilities arise, one is that AMD has a better product than expected and they work on having a very high amount of stock for when they reach the market, because the forecast would be that fly off the shelves, something like it happened with the RX 570/580 (the RX 470/480 will no longer have stock), or the second possibility is that there have been problems in the manufacture, they are not as good as it was predictable and work on improving them quickly and without time.

Theoretically, at the end of July or beginning of August, during SIGGRAPH 2017, it will be when these graphics cards will be presented and they would not arrive until September. We commented that at the end of September, at the earliest, but it would not be surprising that during the second week of September these graphics cards came out, in a hurry and with time on their heels. September is a key month, as we could start to see the first leaks regarding NVIDIA Volta, which would arrive between October / November of this year.
We are not trying to belittle AMD, but it is clear that AMD has a very important problem with Vega, because it is not normal that a year later these graphics cards are missing. We must be clear on this point, that NVIDIA benefits, because it does not have tacit competition and sets the price it wants. The AMD RX 580s are somewhere between NVIDIA's GTX 1060 and GTX 1070, closer to the former than the latter. The performance / price is no longer worth in this case, because the RX 580 consumes almost as much as the GTX 1080 and therefore, the GTX 1060 is better, because what you save on purchase, you will pay later in electricity, without taking into account that finding a RX 580 at a logical price is almost a utopia.

We would like to tell you that the AMD Vega are close to reaching the market, but things look pretty bad. If in the end these compete with the NVIDIA Voltas, it could be a problem for AMD, since, we could return to the current situation. I sincerely hope that AMD offers a good quality graphics based on Vega, I sincerely hope it, although it is hard to believe, this way we will enter into a real competition. Although there is another option in my view and that is that seeing the madness that is occurring with mining (although it has been affecting the graphics card market for more than a month, this has been known for more), AMD would be developing graphics for gaming, which through a BIOS mod, can be converted into powerful mining graphics. Posts to speculate about the constant lag of these graphics cards ...

FAILURE
If we're going to speculate, this is going to become the daily OK of technology. If the reviews continue like this, if for every 2 good reviews there are 10 bad ones, things are going very badly. And yes, this page is for entertainment. I thought it would be a serious page where the articles were of quality, well contrasted, without the biased opinion of the editor or if I had one, where it would say "Personal opinion of the editor" below. But no, as a daily OK technology page said, and I reiterate, this page is merely for entertainment to "see what I come up with today." Because to see serious reviews, there are some in English that do a spectacular job, and then on YouTube, there is very good content with real tests. I came here because of Asaltador's hardwaresfera YouTube channel. He makes videos quite well, but his work piles up a lot and he's days/weeks behind the other review YouTubers, and in the end he loses traction. How will both the website and the channel continue? Who knows, I'll keep on giving war from time to time to see if they get something good out of the criticism and improve. I already gave constructive criticism a long time ago and it seems that they don't pay attention, but look, I win both ways. If they do good reviews, I'll like them, and if they continue like this, I'll continue to be entertained and review Roberto Solé's articles with a lot of humor! Good afternoon, everyone.
Sorry, but you are in the news section, not the reviews section.
Sorry for calling it review, you're right, it's news ... although I think news wouldn't be the appropriate word for this article.
I think the reviews of the web are not open to criticism, because they are serious, worked and the content of quality. We have raised the level of national reviews a lot, which was and is quite low in general. We work on the product and investigate so that you have as much data as possible.
As I said, it is totally legitimate and I really liked the sincerity of your answer. eBay sales of multilingual Windows 10 Pro keys for €5 are also legal and legitimate. Thanks to this, it has become clear to me that unfortunately this website and the channel will provide information to the reader and consumer of content for business and economic purposes, thus creating content for the benefit of like-minded people. In fact, many companies legitimately manage to profit from this. The problem comes when the company that profits is a news website (or one that pretends to be one) which, for ethical reasons, should be impartial and provide content about X manufacturer, giving product specifications along with its results, without further ado, and then you can add comments from the editor who, depending on his tastes, will say whatever he wants. This is happening like the political press, the party that is a friend of a magazine director benefits from it by hiding the party's corruption in its press and accusing the other to divert attention. With all this, content consumers are led to disguised information, which does not mean that what is advertised in "hidden" mode is bad, it may be a 10 product, but it will not always be like that and the consumer will be the one harmed.
You have deleted your comment and mine eh pillin hhahaha quiet, it will be our secret.
Yes man, I'm the double of Alvaro Ojeda, I'm not telling you. The work is serious, but it is true that AMD plays by itself, because it is not doing things well. For days we have not known anything about the AMD Vega and we were not aware that it would disappear and we wanted to remember it, since we were looking forward to it, but right now, if it comes out or not, well look. AMD has money and not little, that they have invested it badly is another thing. We must remember that they sold their processor factory to Samsung to focus on design and development and leave manufacturing to GlobalFoundries. As simple as that.
hahahah good about alvaro ojeda xD what you just said in this comment if I see it more serious and professional than the reflection of the news. I don't get the feeling that news is written too fast.
Well, I think I'm slow, but I've gotten old, before I was going at 160 beats per minute, now I'm going at 120-130 at most. Age is unforgiving.
I think the problem with amd is having little money compared to nvidia so they always take longer to design the products
In relation to the last answers it seems that there is a certain dislike towards AMD, why is it then? I think that when we learn about a product we want it even before it is finished, the desire is a very bad companion. Let it appear on the market and then criticize or praise, because if we put ourselves like this, for example AMD with its new processors are again surpassing Intel, and neither have yet been offered to the market.
Failure of AMD? Well, he's been with us for a long, long time that I know of.
I repeat, I have products from both companies and I am going to make some new montages with the latest, with which I am not a fan of one or the other to refute, but of what I read.
It should be noted that we have been with the AMD Vega song for a year and six months that if it comes out, that if it does not come out
Yes, like certain games that do or do not come out. I prefer to keep waiting and offer myself a finished product and not half as long as I have it ahead of time.
Although sometimes I talk about games, the truth is that videogames is a field that I do not care about
I forgot about Vega from the moment I bought the gtx 1070. I no longer keep waiting for it.
YES, the truth is it hurts me a lot because I waited 1 year for Vega and I couldn't stand it anymore, I waited 1 year because I thought at first it would be months then it became 1 year, then more than 1 year almost 1 year and a half, I just bought a Fury for € 287 that will arrive on Tuesday from PC Components (reconditioned, I came in, I saw it, I bought it), some will say that I'm crazy because who buys that in 2017? But I was excited when it came out it cost 650 I couldn't buy it, but it was something I wanted to have, (I **sold my RX 580 to my cousin** because I basically gave it to him, anyway I'm telling you my life, but I'm done waiting any longer and it hurts a lot, but it's not my fault .. by the way I've seen that some say that with a good 650w source it will be fine, but on PPCcom PNE it needs 750, me I have a 650w corsair 80 plus, i5 6600 without k, 1 ssd 1 hd 8gb ram 4 fans of which 2 rgb, 650w will work for me https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/0df6a58097e38161592f192b8e081dad63888ec9f1a38b576b3890a1e741d1b7.png no?
Well, with what these AMD graphics consume, I am not very clear about it, because the R9 Fury swallows watts, which is nice. I'm sorry you had to wait so long and you still had at least three more months left until September. Good or bad, AMD is brutally late in this case.
