AMD Wraith Prism, the company's new heatsink for the AMD Ryzen 2000 Series

AMD has announced that the new AMD Ryzen 2000 Series processors will arrive with a new heatsink, the Wraith Prism, which is designed for the most powerful processors, the Ryzen 7.

The new AMD Ryzen processors have not only brought with them great processors, which offer excellent performance, they also offer a quality dissipation solution, which is given together with the processor, something that has always been necessary, but is not normally offered. Normally the heatsinks that were given and given, especially with Intel processors, are very bad and are very fair to dissipate heat, so you have to invest an extra. AMD has solved it with some heatsinks, which are not only of good quality, but also have RGB LED lighting.

AMD has bet heavily on heatsinks and the last to be presented is the Wraith Prism, a heatsink that was already seen during CES 2018, last January. This new model is a large heatsink, with good cooling capacity and that has RGB LED lighting, which connects to the motherboard, to mimic the lighting of this and synchronize, being compatible with most motherboards on the market (which have this type of lighting).

It has copper heatpipes, which contact directly with the processor HIS, to dissipate heat more efficiently, something that makes it an even more excellent solution. This new heatsink will arrive as a 'gift', with the new AMD Ryzen 2000 Series processors, which are known as Pinnacle Ridge and that will arrive in 12nm. It will be 'gifted' with the Ryzen 7 processors, the most demanding.

Perhaps, the big downside is the noise level, which at maximum revolutions will be 39dBA, something that will be noticeable, but hey, we save ourselves installing a more expensive solution, if we are not going to overclock or we are going to force the processor a lot. RGB lighting will be visible on top and will also completely cover the fan blades installed on the heatsink. It will have several operating modes, in case we overclock the processor. The normal thing is that it arrives combined with the processors, although they could sell it separately for $ 49, although it is unconfirmed data.
