Apple sold 2018% less iPhone in India in 50 compared to 2017

Spectacular fall in sales of Apple iPhone in India, where they have gone from selling 3.2 million terminals in 2017 to 1.6 million in 2018,

There is no better saying for Apple's situation than: "the pitcher goes so much to the source that in the end it breaks." The company in recent years is abusing to raise the prices of its products that do not improve at all. Year after year we see the same terminals, with the same hardware and the same functionalities. In 2016 problems were already beginning to be seen, in 2017 they were a fact and in 2018 the consequences have been seen. Apple has lowered its fiscal expectations by $ 5.000 billion, blaming China. Now handset sales in India have been reduced by 50%.

Nobody wants Apple iPhones anymore

Marketing hasn't been of interest to users for a long time, who are looking for quality solutions at a good price. Apple tries to exploit a product idea that is unsustainable in a market that is constantly losing sales. Smartphone sales in 2018 fell and the most affected is being Apple. Users are aware that the price does not indicate the quality of the terminal and they bet on other cheaper solutions that they have plenty to talk to with friends and family.

Information comes from India about the drop in sales of the Cupertino company. According to Counterpoint Research, Apple in 2018 supplied India between 1.6 and 1.8 million terminals. This figure in 2017 was 3.2 million terminals, a really important drop. In addition to the high prices, we must bear in mind that the competition offers much better terminals.

It should be noted that in 2014 they sold 1.5 million terminals and in 2017 the figure rose to 3.2 million units. This growth was in line with the sale of terminals in the country, which went from 80 million terminals per year to 150 million terminals per year in that period. In 2018 the figures are almost the same as in 2014 and this is due to the zero innovation and improvement of its terminals.

India therefore joins China and makes the real problem visible: Apple does not contribute anything and prices only go up. Currently in the country only 1.2% of the terminals that are sold have the logo of the bitten apple.
