ASRock H110M-STX, power in a minimum space

Informatics in recent years has evolved a lot and ideal solutions have been developed for all types of users and situations. Not only the gamer is sought, but also the average user with compact solutions or computers to install next to (or behind) the television. Small-size, high-power equipment is becoming more and more popular. ASRock just presented a mini PC, specifically the Desk Mini 110. This equipment is launched on the market as a very powerful solution in an extremely small space, to occupy or disturb the user as little as possible.

We must first stop at the total measurements of the team, since it measures 155x155x80mm and has a motherboard of format mini-STX. This computer has the motherboard ASRock H110M-STX, that allows us to choose more powerful processors than the usual ones, welded on board. This motherboard also, by means of a small BIOS update allows us to install higher-end solutions from Intel, such as Skylake and Kaby Lake. We have an interesting hybrid between the plates with a processor welded to it and this one that allows us to choose a processor to taste, with which we can have much more power.

We are facing the most powerful mini PC on the market, since it can mount a processor Intel i7 7700. There is a basic configuration with a Intel i3 6100, processor socket LGA 1151 or with a 65W maximum TDP. In addition to a high-performance processor, we can install two hard drives 2 ”M.2.5 SSD and admits nothing less than 32GB of DDR4 RAM, with which we also have the latest in this type of memory. It is not lame in connectivity at all, since it has two ports USB 3.0 and video outputs VGA, DisplayPort and HDMI.

We cannot pass up that one of the USB 3.0 ports on the back can be converted into a port thunderbolt 3.0 Thanks to this port we can get to have an external graph. In the front area it has a USB 3.0 port, audio input and output and finally a port USB 3.0 Type-C. Come on, it's equipped with everything. We can already buy it and it has an 'empty' starting price (without processor, RAM and hard disk) of approximately € 150.
