Biostar presents its AM4 motherboards for mining cryptocurrencies in rigs
The other day we told you that cryptocurrencies are rising like foam due to the new acceptance policies that some countries such as China, Japan or Russia have incorporated, today it is time to comment that Biostar has released two AM4 socket motherboards designed for these mining rigs. Today, although Bitcoin is through the roof, more than $ 1300, the most profitable due to the difficulty would be zCash and Ethereum (which have also seen their value increase dramatically during the last month).
Designed for the AMD4 socket, these boards will arrive under the name TA320-BTC and TB350-BTC. They will be in ATX format and will have exactly the same PCB and will have practically the same characteristics, even though one is from the AMD A320 chipset and the other from the B350. They will have 6 VRM power phases to be able to overclock our processor, with two DDR4 RAM memory DIMMs, a third generation PCI-Express x16 and 6 third generation PCI-Express x1.
As for storage, we will have 4 SATA 6 GB/s. Moving on to connectivity, we find 6 HD audio channels, ethernet, DVI, D-Sub, 6 USB 3.0 5 GB/s and 2 USB 2.0. Power will come through 24-pin ATX, 4-pin Molex (optional) and 8-pin EPS. Finally, these boards will support Ryzen processors with a TPD of up to 95 W and the seventh generation of "Bristol Bridge" APUs.
Finally, in terms of price, it has been rumored that it will be quite restrained for the range to which they belong, but Biostar has not yet wanted to make any statement about it. It would make little sense for these motherboards to be expensive considering that when you mount a mining rig you want to recover the investment as soon as possible and start generating a real profit. If you look at this motherboard, it has a lot of PCIe x1 connectors, the ones used to install the graphics cards and do the mining of coins. The minimum amount of RAM is 8GB, therefore you don't need more than two DIMM sockets. Then you need a hard drive and little else.

Good afternoon, I have a question regarding the Biostar motherboard brand. The thing is that I saw in alternate a socket am4 biostar motherboard with prices between 60 and 70 euros. The thing is that when you look for opinions on toms hardware forums, many (if not all) said that not even the dead would buy this brand. My question is, are they really that bad? If so, what makes them bad? And finally, do any of you have experience with this brand?
They are not common plates in Spain, they are more typical of the United States and we have no reference to them, but they are quite simple and should go well. It could be a bad remittance or something like that, that already depends on many factors.
