Bioware is working on a huge Anthem rework
Jason Schreier reports that they are changing the Anthem experience. It is not known when it will be ready.
Anthem is one of the biggest failures of this generation, without a doubt. After Bioware released Mass Effect Andromeda, riddled with bugs and a story that didn’t live up to expectations, Anthem was the game that would redeem itself. The result was a game so plagued by the “games as a service” policy of copying Destiny that it wasn’t what players wanted and the servers quickly emptied.
Bioware doesn't want to leave Anthem
Although we were promised that many patches for the game would come out, the truth is that quite a few have come out. The game feels stagnant and abandoned by Bioware and electronic Arts. But this is all because according to Jason Schreier of Kotaku, they are doing a huge rework of the game under the internal name of Anthem 2.0 or Next.
This is a huge job on Bioware's part. So much so that they still do not have the expectations set nor all the changes noted in development documents, in addition to not having a fixed release date. We might even receive it when PlayStation 5 and Xbox Scarlett are on the market. They also don't know if it will be a series of updates, a huge one, or a totally new game.
It is known that they are restructuring the mission system, the reward system and even the entire world. They have been in this process for a few months, but everything indicates that it will be a long road and there will be no official news of it for a long time. It is good to know that, in the absence of official confirmation, they are trying to save the game and with it the image of Bioware, which went from being one of the most beloved companies several years ago to one of the most negative news in this generation.

Well, wait, I've been playing since the first day it came out. Right now I'm playing Anthem on PS4 and Xbox One and I don't regret paying for the game in the hope that an update will come out this Christmas.
