Bitcoin forked again on Oct 25, to generate Bitcoin Gold

Bitcoin will undergo a new fork this next October 25, in which Bitcoin Gold is generated, a division of Bitcoin that will allow it to be mined with a graphic card and from which we will automatically obtain the same amount of Bitcoin that we have in our portfolio.

On August 1, we witnessed the birth of Bitcoin Cash after a bifurcation of Bitcoin, which caused a drop in the value of this cryptocurrency and then the take-off of the value of Bitcoin to reach $ 5000. On October 25 we will attend another fork of the Bitcoin network, in this case Bitcoin Gold will emerge. As it happened with Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin, everyone who has in their portfolio, at the time of the fork, an amount of Bitcoin, whatever it is, will immediately receive the same amount of Bitcoin Gold. This would be causing a strong rise in Bitcoin.

The idea of Bitcoin Gold is that it will be what Bitcoin was in its day, a currency open to everyone and that can only be mined with GPU, while Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash can only be mined with ASIC, which means an impossibility of mining in many countries due to the low profitability and the majority are mined in China and we already know how hot the situation is in the Asian giant. The other big difference is that Bitcoin Gold does not support SegWit2x and offers protection against repeat transactions, adjusting the difficulty on each block.

About this coin practically nothing is known, they simply leave open the possibility of asking developers through Slack, although it has been leaked that this cryptocurrency is promoted by Jack Liao, CEO of LightningASIC, a company that develops miners for Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, develops cryptocurrency ATMs and has a Zcash mining cloud service. Little else is known about this fork, although what is rumored is that they want anyone to be able to mine it, not like now, that specific ASICs are needed for Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash.
