BitStamp supports Litecoin and helps sharpen the rise of this cryptocurrency

Litecoin experiences very important increases, on the one hand due to the regulatory restrictions established in China and due to the inclusion of this cryptocurrency in the BitStamp exchange house.

The price of Litecoin is skyrocketing, with a rise of 60% in the last three days. Initially, we pointed out that it was due to the stoppage of Bitcoin mining machines in the Sichuan area due to recent legislation that prevented the continued generation of electricity through flowing waters in that Chinese province, but also, Litecoin has been included in the list of cryptocurrencies that can be traded on BitStamp. Within this platform, Litecoin can be traded for Euros, Dollars and Bitcoin. BitStamp is the first operator that allows operations with this cryptocurrency in Europe and generates a large volume of transactions.

Litecoin was stable until June 16, oscillating between $ 28-32 and this was the moment when it began to rise, reaching $ 40 on June 17. Today this cryptocurrency operates in Poloniex at $ 45, but in other trading houses, in China and South Korea, we can find them for a price around $ 50. This valuation should continue to rise in the coming days and weeks, following 10-15% this week and perhaps the first days of the following week and then it will stabilize again with more gradual increases. With these movements, Litecoin is expected to reach $ 400-500 by the end of the year.

During the last 24 hours we have seen how it has reached 1276 million dollars. The volume of these last 24 hours is only 67 million dollars less than Bitcoin, despite the fact that the capitalization of this cryptocurrency is seventeen times larger in market capitalization. Litecoin reached $ 50 in 2013, but fell shortly after to a value of $ 5, which was stable until April 10. If we take into account the valuation of Litecoin, it has risen 500% in just two months.
