Bittrex will allow trading with US dollars at its cryptocurrency exchange

Bill Shihara, the CEO of Bittrex, one of the most important cryptocurrency exchanges, speaks in an interview about opening the door to operate with US dollars, but only to very specific clients, thinking above all of high-level clients.

The sharp fall in the cryptocurrency market and especially Bitcoin, does not respond to a great situation in general in the cryptocurrency market, which is beginning to have institutional support, as in South Korea, where it is being regulated, but nothing of illegalization. In full spiral, the CEO of Bittrex, Bill Shihara, has confirmed that the exchange wants to enable the change to US dollars, with the intention of increasing its weight globally and attracting more customers. This option, for now, will only be open to high-level clients.

This statement has been made in an interview, for the Unikrn digital radio, directed this interview by Raul Sood. Allow trading with USD, which will make the platform more user-friendly, especially for investors who can operate using this payment method on the platform. Currently to enter Bittrex, we must buy cryptocurrencies in other spaces through different fiat currencies and then pass them to this exchange, something that can be quite cumbersome. The portfolio of the exchange house basically allows the exchange to Bitcoin, Ethereum and the controversial Tether.

Sood is aware that operating on the exchange is complicated for new users, highlighting that adding trade through dollars, which allows customers to operate in a simpler way, making the platform more attractive. Shihara is aware of this, but has also highlighted that Bittrex relies on users of another profile.

Right now it is very difficult. Cryptocurrencies fail for the average person when it comes to public / private key pairs. I don't think it makes sense. I am very excited when I see solutions for the end consumer, be it a blockchain project or a wallet project (…) that helps the adoption of cryptocurrencies. Bill Shihara explains.

Shihara also wanted to highlight that this option is not designed for the average user or small investor, but is focused on high-level users, especially clients and institutional investors, who have more knowledge of the cryptocurrency ecosystem. Also, Shihara is quite blunt: 'Bittrex will never be a retail store and average customers, who know nothing about cryptocurrencies, should not trade with Bittrex'
