Bluehole explains the areas of the new Miramar map, from PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds

Bluehole reveals the data for the new PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds map, which has been called Miramar and has detailed the main points on the map.

The new desert map for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is called Miramar, which is characterized by having less water and having been developed as a map designed to hide and ambush. It is expected that before the end of the year this map will arrive, along with other news and we could see a large rise in simultaneous players on Steam, reaching 3.5 million players, without problems. The game's developers, Bluehole, have revealed not only the title of the new map, Miramar, but also the areas and characteristics of these points.

  • The Lions: It's the largest city on the map, boasting department stores, an editable skyline, and a glorious gold-toned future in the city center. Players will be able to take advantage of the observation points found in many enclaves in the area and loot the large abandoned shopping centers.
  • The hole: City known for large industrial and entertainment spaces. Players can challenge themselves against other players and prove their motorcycle skills in the Death Bowl or hunt in the ruins of long-abandoned textile factories.
  • Mount New: It is the definition of 'besieged city'. The rickety walls previously built to protect residents now allow players to move around with great cover and explore the well-stocked complex.
  • Valley of the Sea: Picturesque city on the ocean shore, which is divided in two by the De Toro bridge. To the west of the bridge we find a school and to the east a beautiful church. Controlling the bridges is key to maintaining this city, which is the only route between the mainland and the island.
  • The copper shop: Miramar Shipping and Transportation Center, which has as its greatest feature, its huge Rail Yard. Players will hunt and be hunted amid the remains of half-buried cargo from a long-dead industry. Players must be careful looting schools and campuses throughout the city before conquering the courtyard.
  • San Martin: It is located south of the Hacienda del Patrón. Checkpoints and barricades have transformed what was once a small and quiet city into a war zone. Both sides of the city have views, so players will have to be very careful and explore the city well before entering.
  • Sin: Before it was a tourist destination that had the largest casino in the region. This point excites players thanks to the high value loot and some rather dangerous sight lines. The bravest and most aggressive will loot the area and the casino, but the smart ones will check the four-story hotels in the area.
  • Rowlock: Souvenir of the important textile industry of Miramar. Abandoned factories peek over the top of a main road lined with residential and commercial buildings. The vertical buildings and terrain make it an exciting area to loot, with high risk, but it is a great opportunity.
