# CES2018: EVGA Z10, the company's first mechanical keyboard with an LCD screen

EVGA, during CES 2018, has presented its first EVGA Z10 keyboard, which is characterized by high quality Kailh keys, red backlighting and an LCD screen that allows to display useful information.

Interesting is the keyboard that EVGA has presented at CES 2018. The company has presented the EVGA Z10, the company's first and which is completely focused on the gaming market, which has Kailh mechanical keys, which will be available in Blue colors and Brown. These keys offer a lifespan of more than 60 million keystrokes. The pushbuttons are installed in a chassis completely made of aluminum and this one also has a red backlight, so we will not be able to put bright colors.

The keyboard, how could it be otherwise, has additional keys, such as macros, multimedia keys and an excellent anti-ghosting system. The great particularity of this keyboard is that it has an LCD screen, which gives us additional information. The keyboard has two extra USB 2.0 ports, the keyboard has a slider to control the brightness level and another slider for the volume and an ergonomic wrist rest, which is always an interesting element.

This EVGA keyboard has a plastic clip, which allows us to remove the keys quickly and easily, in order to clean our keyboard more efficiently. The set has additional keys, in case any of the keys wears out a lot due to use, a gutter with advanced and complete software for the control and management of macros, lighting and even to control the LCD screen and give us useful information. The company has not said anything about when this keyboard will be available to be purchased or the price of it, but seen what has been seen, it will not drop below $ 100, very possibly.
