# CES2018: Intel talks 10nm at an informal event

Intel speaks very casually at the company's booth at CES 2018 about 10nm processors, rather than at the Keynote that Brian Krzanich did last night.

There are many who wonder, what is happening with the 10nm processors, since they seem to never finish arriving. There was a rumor that they would arrive at the end of the year and little more, but Intel has spoken about this and more specifically the Senior Vice President of Intel and General People of Client Computing Group at Intel Corporation, Gregory Bryant, who has announced at an event of the company on their own booth at CES 2018, they are already shipping 10nm-based products.

Bryant has not given much more information about it, but it must be clarified that before the end of 2017, the company has already started sending processors based on 10nm, to test and start developing specific products. Initial rumors suggested that the company had sent dual-core processors working at a frequency of 2.0GHz, which would have a 2 + 0 configuration and would not integrate graphics, thinking of low-power solutions.

The delay in the market arrival of 10nm-based processors is having a significant impact on the company's portfolio. Brian Krzanich, I did not speak about these processors during Keynote last night, something that does not leave anyone indifferent. Not only this, the fact that the company talks about 10nm in an 'impromptu' talk at its own stand, almost casually, causes us to wonder the interest that the company really has in the new processors.

The truth is that Intel is not stopping to shoot rockets at the moment, on the contrary, Specter and Meltdown are a very serious problem and some lawsuits have already fallen. The presentation of the company has not contributed absolutely anything relevant and this movement of a simple talk without more, seems quite shabby and inappropriate for something so prominent.
