Netflix sets up a fake booth at CES 2018, where it promotes its new series, Altered Carbon, through a booth from Psychasec, the fictional company behind the series, and extremely realistic mannequins.

The first technological event of the year, CES 2018, has left us some curiosities, but the highlight is the fake stand that Netflix has set up at this important technological event in Las Vegas, which, as usual, has not gone unnoticed. The streaming video company has set up a stand for the Psychasec company, which is nothing more than a fictitious company in the Altered Carbon series, the new science fiction series that will premiere on February 2.

The company has put two very realistic mannequins inside a display case, to clearly attract attention. Those who entered the stand, especially to browse, were greeted by assistants who were wearing bright white and who gave you information about the project, in addition, they requested an email address to give more information as of February 2, which is when the series premieres. All this is complemented with screens where they report the benefits of modifying the body, for a stronger, sexier and with improved capabilities, in general.

Not only that, the stand hides a small interior corridor, where you can see a vacuum sealed human being. Obviously it was not a person, but it was another mannequin, brutally realistic, something that makes it even more disturbing, if possible. The truth is that it makes you want to see the series with this type of advertising.

It should be noted that Netflix is ​​characterized by advertising its series in a different way, above all, that they give a lot to talk about, because they reach everyone and with a minimal investment, they can reach everywhere, even the news. television, as happened with the controversial Narcos poster, where Pablo Escobar Gaviria wished us a 'White Christmas', while promoting the Narcos series, one of the best on Netflix.
