LG shows the rollable television that will begin to be sold this year
LG seeks to offer what would be the first rollable TV with 4K resolution. The TV would start to be on sale to the public throughout 2019, and it doesn't look cheap at all.
The concept of modern designs eludes many of us, but there are people who want a great television experience without always having the screen visible and want something that when not in use is hidden and discreet. It is a concept that has been tested for a long time and has finally shown a product with commercial viability, and if you like it a lot, you have to prepare because it will not be cheap.
It is a 4-inch 65K OLED monitor. If that already promises a very high price, the fact that they make it rollable ensures that it will be a product for those who have a large bank account. It is LG Signature and it will allow us to hide the television as soon as we do not want to use it, providing an atmosphere of simplicity and minimalism to a living room.
Hide the TV when you don't want to use it
The LG Signature will also have an option to only display a four of the height of the television, showing a small part of the television. This mode allows us to use the audio functions of the monitor to use it as a stereo.
This monitor is undoubtedly not intended for the common of mortals, if not for those who the aesthetic factor is paramount and do not mind spending a lot of money on it. LG has communicated that the monitor will be released throughout the spring of this year, with a price that has not yet been confirmed, but we would not be very surprised if it ends up around € 10.000 as the final sale price to the public and we hope there will be a great after-sales service in case the winding system stops working.
