# Computex2017: Gigabyte BRIX VR VNi7G6-1060, a team by and for virtual reality

Gigabyte presents the new Gigabyte BRIX VR VNi2017G7-6 at Computex 1060, an extremely compact device designed to enjoy games and virtual reality.

Compact solutions are becoming very popular, where there are a large number of manufacturers who choose to develop machines that allow them to play any game and even virtual reality without major problems in the smallest possible space. Gigabyte among all, is the greatest expert of all and is that he has been working on this type of solutions for a long time and has a wide catalog. The last solution shown at Computex 2017 has been the Gigabyte BRIX VR VNi7G6-1060.

This new Gigabyte BRIX VR VNi7G6-1060 is characterized by having the minimum hardware necessary to enjoy virtual reality, a trend in vogue within the hardware and video game industry. This new BRIX is based on a rectangular prism shape quite similar to the BRIX UHD that Gigabyte introduced some time ago. VR VNi7G6-1060 has an Intel Kaby Lake processor in its 'mobile' version, but with all the power of Intel solutions and as always, it is possible that it is in several versions, although the one in question will carry a powerful i7 of low consumption, accompanied with an NVIDIA GTX 1060 graphics card, although we do not know if it will be the 3GB or 6GB GDDR5 version and finally, it will have two SO-DIMM DDR4 sockets, possibly supporting a maximum of 32GB.

A very important aspect in all equipment and more in this is the connectivity and the internal storage ports. Two M.2 2280 ports have been provided for storage units, that is why it has become an extremely compact machine, because it leaves out the SSD or mechanical HDD. Regarding connectivity, this equipment has 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and an HDMI 2.0 output and also has USB 3.1 Type-C. On price or availability we have no data.
