Black Friday is now an annual event, with shoppers setting aside money months in advance to take advantage of those tempting offers in such a short time. Will we be able to buy a PS5 this Black Friday? Here's a short guide for all shoppers.

What edition of PS5 to buy?
For practical purposes, a new PS5 costs about 499 euros in its version with a slot for physical discs, and 399 euros for the all digital version. In the case of digital AllD, it means that we will not be able to insert physical games, neither from PS4 nor from PS5. All the games that we can play will be those that we get from the PlayStation Store, either by buying them, through PlayStation Now or those given every month on PlayStation Plus.
Which PS5 model should you choose? That depends on your expected gaming habits. If you value physical games highly because you rent, lend, return, or resell them, the €100 price difference for the disc-drive model is definitely worth it. If you value digital games and PlayStation Now and PlayStation Plus titles, and take advantage of PlayStation Store deals, the €100 price difference, even though it's likely the less popular model, will be a good trade-off. However, in the latter case, we recommend considering expanding its storage capacity with one of the many PS5 SSDs available on the market.
Be on the lookout for when sales open
If you know how to be attentive to when online sales open, through reminders, bookmarks in the browser and knowing how to complete the purchase process in stores, with accounts already created, you may be able to get one without problems. Set an alarm clock, prepare your computer and bank details, get in the virtual queue and try to get the console for this Christmas.
One example of this is the online store Electrocosto, which has announced that you'll be able to buy PS5s there on Black Friday . Their sales period will begin on November 22nd, several days before Black Friday itself.
If you have to buy in a pack with games, you buy
You will most likely have to buy the console with new games or an additional controller in a bundle to get the PS5 on Black Friday. It is a measure to discourage the purchases of speculators by making the purchase less profitable with games within packs of which their resale through official channels is not allowed.
You may have to pay more than normal for the console
