Microsoft no longer has games in development for the Xbox One

At the last Xbox Showcase on the occasion of "NoE3» of 2023, Microsoft showed several of its new and future games, and there it was seen that at least they are no longer making games for Xbox One. That means that if you want to keep up to date with new Microsoft games due to Xbox Game Pass, It's time to get an Xbox series X or Xbox series S.
Microsoft has moved on from the Xbox One and is no longer creating games in-house for its previous generation of consoles. We have moved to Gen 9"," says Matt Booty, head of Xbox Game Studios, referring to the Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X generation, in an interview with Axios.
There are going to be a lot fewer games coming out on Xbox One from now on, and none of them will be from Microsoft.
Microsoft will continue to support Xbox One hardware and games like Minecraft that work on the previous generation. But there are no internal studios working on new games for Xbox One. Microsoft has slowly gotten to this point, and will use Xbox Cloud Gaming to bring games like Microsoft Flight Simulator to Xbox One users.
Microsoft's recent Xbox Games Showcase did not contain any first-party games that will run on the Xbox One natively. Booty says the company will continue to leverage its Xbox Cloud Gaming infrastructure to bring the latest games to Xbox One users.

Microsoft's own game developers are now focused on the Xbox Series S and Xbox Ones X consoles, despite claims that some developers are asking Microsoft to drop mandatory compatibility with Xbox Series S for the latest Xbox games. The $299 Xbox Series S launched as a console capable of 1440p gaming at a maximum of 120fps, but many games have only gone as far as 1080p and without the higher frame rates of the more powerful Xbox Series X. Also, recently has reported that he is starting to have problems due to not having enough VRAM. D
Microsoft's larger and more powerful Xbox Series X has more raw GPU power and also 16GB more RAM, while the smaller Xbox Series S only offers 10GB of RAM. Memory limitations have been painful for some developers. Microsoft has worked to try to improve the overall graphics performance of the little sister and has freed up more memory for developers to use.
