Microsoft prevents charges for updating games on Xbox Series X
For video game developers, the company has established two options for the transition between generations. They can choose to be based on the Smart Delivery program or to launch an exclusive version for the Xbox Series X. 2K Games has decided to launch an exclusive version of some of its games for the next Microsoft console with a price increase.
On the other hand, EA is working on exclusive versions of FIFA 11 and Madden 21 for the Microsoft console. Electronic Arts is based on the Dual Entitlement program or what is the same, will give a free copy for the 'next-gen' consoles. So anyone who buys the game for the current generation will have it for the future Microsoft console.
Xbox Series X will natively enhance all the 'old' games that run on it. This also without the need for developers to release a specific update. These improvements are based on increasing the resolution to 4K, increasing the number of frames, implementing anti-aliasing or improving loading times thanks to the SSD unit of the console.
