Cooler Master updates its catalog of heatsinks to support the AM4 socket used in the new AMD Ryzen processors.

The arrival of AMD Ryzen processors is requiring an update in various segments of the hardware industry. One of them is the heatsinks, which must be adapted to the new AM4 socket. Cooler Master does not want to be left behind in this race and has announced the availability of compatibility of its entire catalog of heatsinks for the new AMD Ryzen processors, therefore, these coolers, through the corresponding adapters, will be compatible with the new AMD CPUs .

The simplest is the Cooler Master X Dream K641, which has a height, with fan included, of 72mm, therefore it is an ideal heatsink for compact equipment, such as a HTPC. It is followed by the Cooler Master Vortex Plus, a slightly larger heatsink that features a Cooler Master Blade Master 92 fan, 92mm in diameter and PWM.

Within what are usually called tower-type fans, we have the Cooler Master Blizzard T2 mini, a 117mm high heatsink, which integrates an 80mm fan and low noise level, which is the little brother of the Cooler Master Blizzard T2, which is also compatible with socket AM4, which has dimensions of 140mm and has a 93mm fan, which is the same as the Cooler Master Hyper T2, but with the fan in black. The Cooler Master Hyper 101 is very similar to the Blizzard T2 mini, which also has an 80mm fan and a 117.5mm high fan.

Perhaps, the most acquired and recognized Cooler Master coolers are the Hyper TX3, which are in two versions, the Hyper TX3 with a 92mm PWM fan mounting bracket and the Hyper TX3 EVO, which has the fan adjusted by means of a pins to the heatsink fins, which also features a 92mm PWM fan. The Hyper TX3 with bracket measures 139mm high, while the Hyper TX3 EVO measures 136mm. The differences between the two are minimal.

Raising the level a little more, we fear the Cooler Master Hyper T4, an already higher-performance cooler with an exquisite finish. This has eight four heatpipes that pass through the base that is in contact with the heatsink and connects with all the fins, in order to efficiently dissipate heat. It stands 152.3mm tall and has a 120mm PWM fan, with a maximum sound level of 31.6dB.

At the top of the range, we would firstly have the Hyper 212 LED, a heatsink that has a fan from the factory, but that admits two fans with red LEDs. The fan that incorporates this heatsink as standard has dimensions of 120mm and is PWM. It is composed of four heatpipes that touch the processor, to dissipate heat more efficiently and bring heat more quickly to the dissipation fins. The set has a maximum height of 160mm

Finally, after the Hyper 212 LED, we have the Cooler Master Hyper 212 LED Turbo. This heatsinks have two 120mm PWM fans illuminated by red LEDs, which work in a synchronized way thanks to the adapter cable it brings. This cooler has a trim located in the upper area of ​​the cooler, which has the function of giving it a quality aesthetic touch and aiding in dissipation, which, in addition, is in two colors, being able to choose between black and red. Regarding the height, this cooler measures 163mm, three millimeters more than the Hyper 212 LED, due to the upper trim.

All the coolers mentioned here officially support the AM4 socket, so the new shipment in stores will already have the adapters and in case of already having one of these coolers and wanting to update our equipment to AMD Ryzen, keeping the heatsink, we can request it in a way free by registering the product or purchasing the adapter directly in store.
