Corsair has introduced the Corsair HZ and Corsair TX-M PSUs

Corsair has introduced the new high-end Corsair HZ and Corsair TX-M power supplies, with 80Plus Platinum and 80Plus Gold efficiency, to offer great performance.

CES in Las Vegas has brought us all sorts of new solutions and Corsair has shown us some interesting products and now has let us see new power supplies. Corsair has introduced the Corsair HZ and Corsair TX-M power supplies, which are designed to offer great performance and excellent performance, therefore, Corsair has installed 100% Japanese capacitors that withstand up to 105ºC in both power supplies.

The first family of power supplies is the Corsair HX, which, as we have mentioned, mounts Japanese capacitors, which, among other things, allows this power supply to obtain an 80Plus Platinum energy certification, which offers an energy efficiency of up to 94 %. The design is completely modular, in addition to being equipped with a very powerful 135mm fan that offers great air flow and a low noise level. It has a Zero RPM mode, which deactivates the fan until the 50ºC barrier is reached.

Corsair offers the HZ in a power of 750W for € 130, a power of 850W for € 160, a power of 1000W for € 200 and a power of 1200W for € 230, in addition to having a 10-year warranty.

On the other hand we have the Corsair TX-M, which also has the already mentioned Japanese capacitors, but the rest of the components are not as advanced as in the Corsair HX, therefore the efficiency is only 80Plus Gold. The power supply is semi-modular and has a 120mm fan, which also activates when the power supply reaches 50ºC. The 550W PSU will cost € 80, the 650W power will cost € 90, the 750W power will cost € 110 and the 850 power will cost € 130, offering a 7-year warranty.
