Corsair Announces Dominator Platinum Special Edition Torque RAM Memory

Corsair is characterized by producing very good quality products at a fairly moderate price within the high range, however in some cases it launches exclusive products whose price is not thinking for all pockets, this case is one of them the RAM Dominator Platinum memories Special Edition Torque. These are nothing more than an update to the high-performance Corsair Dominator Platinum model, but the visual differences are that the heatsink fins change to an orange color versus the black aluminum heatsink with a brushed finish and the upper bridge of color passes from silver to a light blue color.

The reason why one buys these kits that come in 8 GB DDR4 modules is because they like it a lot or are interested in overclocking these memories or simply have money to spare and want a PC with sublime aesthetics. It is worth mentioning that the PCB of these has a great quality, 10 layers, and uses an exclusive cooling system of the brand, Corsair DHX.

The two kits that we can buy will have a total of 32 GB at a frequency of 3200 MHz, however we can choose if we want 4x8GB or 16 × 2 GB of memory. It is curious that the price for the two options is the same, 499 euros. It is also curious that this model is worth 100 euros more for being a special and limited edition of Corsair. If we are not so fussy we can get the same memories, with the same improved cooling system, with the same reinforced PCB, but without the mods and extra colors that give it a curious appearance, we can do it by buying other modules of the same Corsair and for 399 euros.
